In this local spotlight, I interview the recent Slam Champion of Reno Nevada, who won the right to represent the city of Reno in Salt Lake City, Utah alongside members of Spoken Views Poetry Collective. In this interview we talk about how to get started with writing poetry, how to keep a consistent practice. In addition to tips on craft and practice, Colton shares some original work.
